ACCOUNT MANAGER // CREATIVE STRATEGIST
part-time, remote position [starting at 15 hours per week]Lumina is a creative agency based in LA & Austin, working with market-leading brands, impactful entrepreneurs and influencers. We create brands & websites that are not only beautiful, but intended to impact user perception and take businesses to whole new heights.
We are currently hiring an ACCOUNT MANAGER to oversee web design projects. This role is 50% creative strategy, 50% account management.
You will be the point of contact between our creative team and the client. The ideal unicorn will be able to intuitively grasp client’s goals, bring your own strategic expertise to the table, effectively communicate Lumina’s ethos, and manage our creative team to bring it all together.
About the role
- Prepare and lead client kickoffs, meetings and check-ins.
- Coordinate the deliverables based on client’s scope to ensure projects are presented at high quality, on time, within budget and to the absolute delight of the client.
- Beginning to end project management (Branding, Copywriting, Web Design), and manage multiple projects at a time.
- Develop design and branding strategies for clients (through your established industry experience) along with fresh, forward-thinking ideas.

- This role is HIGHLY focused on intuitive design, so an understanding of brand strategy, website UX/UI, and overall design best-practices is a must.
- 3+ years experience at a creative agency (or, you’ve managed your own studio)- as a designer OR as an account manager
- Website design experience, available to provide online portfolio demonstrating the range of your expertise in the industry
- This US-based, remote position. Bonus points if Southern California or Austin, TX based, we love getting together for team offsites, activities and hangs!
- DESIGN & BRANDING: understanding of brand positioning, brand strategy, and visual brand identity deliverables. You must have excellent aesthetic taste, with full awareness of creative processes, design trends, best practices & techniques
- WEB EXPERIENCE: understanding and managing web design projects and wireframing UX flows, as well as platform/plugin functionality.
- COPYWRITING: understanding of conversion copywriting, voice & tone, basics of grammar & formatting, proofing and storytelling.
- BUSINESS STRATEGY: must have an understanding of conversion optimization and personal brand strategy. Our clients are typically coaches, so our Account Managers must have an understanding of how to best strategize their web structure, based on their business objectives.

- Understanding of our web tech platforms: Wordpress and Kajabi (We have a dev team, however it’s important that you understand functionality to best serve our clients.)
- Management: Slack, Google Drive, Clickup
- Proficient with Adobe XD, Photoshop & Illustrator.
- **If you’re lacking know-how in these platforms, you must be willing to learn on your own time.
- High-level communication and speaking skills, excellent emotional intelligence. You are always on time and always (over)prepared.
- Naturally HIGHLY organized. Detail oriented & naturally triple checks everything.

- SELF SUFFICIENT! You exhaust your resources searching for (or simply Google) solutions to things before asking someone on the team. You must be willing to roll up your sleeves to problem solve and find creative solutions to administrative challenges independently.

- TRAINING: 2-3 weeks // 10 hours per week
- You can formally begin ONCE we determine we’re a good fit.
- DESIGN DAYS- these will be ~2 fully online days a week, where you’re working through web design projects in real time with clients, and host 30 min client calls
- Mon-Fri: Slack check-ins every morning and evening, and throughout day to ensure all clients are nurtured
- Set weekly check ins + team meetings
- Eventually, this may transition to a full time position
